As the owner of JMFitness, LLC, I have been a Nationally Certified Group Fitness instructor for over 35 years and I have taught a large array of group fitness classes. The classes I currently instruct include: Pumped Up Strength, HIIT on the Bosu, Step Combo, and Barre Fusion. Due to world and life circumstances, I am currently offering virtual classes to help those who don't have the access or are more vulnerable to in person group fitness classes.

My objective is to design work-out sessions that are safe, effective, progressive and fun. Everyone is invited and modification will be provided for all fitness levels.

Jennifer McGrath MS, ARNP, is the owner of JMFitness, LLC. JMFitness, LLC is a virtual fitness studio. It was designed for those who love group fitness classes but due to time, money, location, or the pandemic are unable to attend in-person classes. 

Jennifer is an AFAA certified primary/group fitness instructor. She also holds multiple specialty certifications including: Pumped Up Strength, Barre Above, Tabata GX, Extreme HIIT Chaos, and Balletone. She has been instructing group fitness classes in her community for over 35 years. 

Jennifer has presented workshops, and masterclasses for AFAA and AAAI/ISMA. From 1996-2008, Jennifer presented AAAI/ISMA certification workshop courses for step aerobics, cycling, primary aerobics, Pilates and personal training. Jennifer’s research on group exercise mode and health-related quality of life among healthy adults was published in "The Journal of Advanced Nursing", in 2011. This research revealed a correlation in higher quality of life health scores in participants of both weight lifting and step classes.

Jennifer is passionate about fitness. She believes in a well balanced regimen of cardio, strength and meditation. Jennifer enjoys teaching choreographed step and weight training classes, in addition to HIIT and Pilates-Barre fusion. 

When she is not instructing fitness classes, Jennifer can be found caring for patients in her community, spending time with her granddaughter, working on home improvement projects, or having coffee with friends and family.
